Anxiety

Most of us will experience a degree of anxiety throughout our lives that mildly impacts our day-to-day routine.   But, left unchecked, anxiety can become a debilitating state of mind. For some sufferers this state of mind can become so overwhelming it impacts the quality of their lives and will often be the precursor to other destructive patterns.

At the extreme end of the scale, sever anxiety can render a sufferer housebound in fear of interacting with the world around them.   Attempting to control environmental conditions becomes so impossible their world will continue to shrink until they have abandoned a quality of life they once enjoyed.

We can never control the environment around us, but we can absolutely control our inner world and imagination.  By refocusing your attention on what you have complete control over, which is your own internal response such as thoughts and self-talk, you can regain your life.
